Prom... and Other Senior Stuff

Apparently during my 8th and 9th period, few of the girls (especially my mentor) are talking about prom, even though prom is around May.

The girls wanted me to wear a pretty dress, but I denied. I never wear dresses after coming here in America. When I was still young, I wear dresses and the fact my uniform in the school I attend to is like a dress, so that kinda doesn't count. Still... I never wear dresses. I wear skirts though, but dresses... I never wear them for a long time.

My mentor wants me to wear something that has pants. Yes, she wanted me to go to prom. Geez, no one's at my side *emo corner*

I never went to prom at all. However, they wanted me to come. It's not even mandatory. I rather stay at home and chat with my friends. But... I need to go out. Well... I guess I could go this prom, just once. I don't even have a date, but the girls said you don't have to. Still, I don't want to wear anything girly though. I'm a tomboy. I'd rather wear a tuxedo rather than a dress or the pants my mentor showed me hours ago.

Gah... what to do... what to do...

I still have to work on my SAT. The testing is next month on the first Sat. of November. I have a friend who might come over this Sat. to help me and my sister.

Oh yeah, I have an essay to work on for AP English. The whole essay is about on why former President John Kennedy's Inaugural Address is rhetorically effect. I'm really not too fond of essays because my mind wonders off and the bits of info I heard is taking me off task. Besides, the essay needs a thesis, main idea and supporting details. That's it, but I'm just making this too hard.

Some top student I turned out to be.

I also kinda overheard that the top three students will make a speech on graduation day from one of my classmates during AP English last week ago I think. I heard my name and I overheard about it. I would really wanna do a speech about it. If I have to do it, I would definitely do it.

It's almost the end of class. I'll end my blog.
